We're a multi-cultural, multi-discipline team who celebrates all backgrounds and heritage - some of our longest serving, and most valued team members have come from incredibly diverse backgrounds, and we revel in this! (Fun fact: our team includes the former drummer for an internationally-acclaimed acrobat troupe, a one-time professional poker player, a nurse, a cocktail bar owner and more - what will you bring to this mix?!) We're highly collaborative - both with ourselves and our clients, and apply a zest for learning to both the solutions we craft and pioneering new ways to do things.

Social Initiatives

The privilege of supporting social initiatives to create new opportunities.

Our coding community contributions (via open source) are well-known, however we’re also proud to have built long-term, hands-on engagements with key social initiatives. Aligent believes in hands-on action creating pathways for community members to succeed themselves; our initiatives benefit many groups of people, including people living with disability, LGBTIQA+, indigenous people, refugees and those from disadvantage.

We are proud to be partnered with Talent Beyond Boundaries, the 42 Coding School, Barkuma, and CareerTrackers, as well as supporting the Welcome Here initiative.
